Another Lil’ Wayne / ¡Mayday! collaboration! This was a weekend chalk full of ¡Mayday! madness which started with ¡Mayday! shooting another video with Lil’ Wayne. The video was shot on the roof of the famed Marlin Hotel on South Beach. ¡Mayday! set up on a roof top stage and jammed out with Weezy while cameras shot them from rooftops across the street and a helicopter hovering above. The band filmed two different songs with Wayne and after an entire day of filming called it a day and moved on to play the Nas show that night.

Later in the weekend Wayne reached out again, this time during the Super Bowl. He requested that ¡Mayday! play at his Super Bowl after party. Last minute gig arrangements are hard enough when your dealing with a full band but being the professionals they are; ¡Mayday! was able to pull it off! They played at Dolce on South Beach to a packed house of locals and out of towners alike. Some of the people in the building to witness ¡Mayday! madness were Drake, Baby, Juelz Santana, Bow Wow, Derick G, several NFL players and of course Lil’ Wayne himself. Besides all the Lil’ Wayne collabo’s ¡Mayday! also played the Nas, Goodie Mob show and Gamer Tag Radio’s Community Vibes 5 gaming event.
